story of my life at the moment.

We never thought this day would come. We prayed for its quick delivery, crossed days off our calendars, counted hours, minutes, and seconds, and now that it’s here, I’m sorry it is because it means leaving friends who inspire me and teachers who have been my mentors - so many people who have shaped my life and my fellow students’ lives impermeably and forever.

The saddest moment…
Was when I was walking with my class and all the teachers were waving to us. Mrs. Zaccoli was crying and waved to me. As soon a I put my hand up I had to walk away. That was the last thing I wanted to do but I had to. In a sense it was like moving on. Mr. Whitfield broke my heart the most. When I was walking to the stage I stopped and he took my hand and kissed me in the cheek. He said congratulations then continued with telling me not to cry. Needless to say, that made me cry. Everyone was so incredible today. The last thing I wanted to do today was leave my family but today I realized that St. Johns will always be with me. It’s a part of me, ingrained into my soul and I would have it any other way.
